About the Role & Responsibilities:

Red Appointments is currently seeking a qualified service technician with a strong background in Maintenance/Industrial Electrical work. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with providing and coordinating skilled, efficient instrumentation services, repairs, traceable calibrations, and management systems within the process control and calibration industry for our valued clients.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of duties, including calibrations, adjustments, repairs, and testing services for clients within the Adelaide metro area. Additionally, occasional travel to regional locations in South Australia may be required, depending on client demands. We are seeking an individual who is customer-focused, adept at building rapport with clients, and capable of identifying sales opportunities within existing and prospective client bases.

Position Overview:
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Service Technician, you will play a key role in the timely and efficient delivery of instrumentation services, repairs, traceable calibrations, and management systems in the process control and calibration industry. You will ensure high-quality service delivery to clients while building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth and sales within existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing calibrations, adjustments, repairs, and testing for a wide range of clients within the Adelaide metro area.
• Providing occasional support in regional South Australian locations such as the Riverland, Limestone Coast, and Barossa (1-2 trips per month depending on customer needs).
• Building rapport with clients and identifying opportunities for service expansion or additional sales.

Core Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:15 PM, with potential for overtime. Additional away work as required.

Based at Mile End

Key Requirements:
• Unrestricted SA Electrical Licence.
• Cert 3 or 4 in Instrumentation (or willingness to obtain - on the job training provided).
• Current CPR/LVR certification (within the last 12 months).
• White Card.
• A background in Maintenance/Industrial Electrical work is highly advantageous.
