Steve Sorensen Mechanical, a well-established light vehicle mechanical workshop with a trusted reputation of 28 years in Browns Plains, is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor. If you’re great with people, tech-savvy, and ready to be part of a team that values quality work and a positive, supportive environment, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Morning Vehicle Reception & Booking: Welcome customers, create bookings, and manage vehicle check-ins smoothly and professionally.

Repair Orders & Quoting: Prepare repair orders, price and recommend services and repairs, and obtain customer approvals accurately and efficiently.

Liaise with Technicians: Coordinate with our foreman and technicians to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.

Customer Support: Handle queries, provide updates, and manage vehicle handovers with a smile.

CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records using modern systems (experience with 'Mechanic Desk' is a bonus but not essential).

Attention to Detail: You have strong organisational skills and can manage your time efficiently.

Strong people skills and solid mechanical knowledge are key: You’re confident working with customers and computers, with a genuine interest in the automotive industry. A good understanding of vehicle systems and services is essential, and we’ll continue to build on your expertise with further training
