About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1), you will provide comprehensive nursing services while developing from novice to proficient practice through ongoing learning and experience. You’ll be accountable for your own professional standards of care and the delegation of tasks to others.
As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you’ll bring consolidated experience and/or further study to deliver proficient, evidence-based care. In addition to providing direct clinical services, you will guide and mentor less experienced staff, accept accountability for delegated activities, and may hold portfolio responsibilities aligned to your career development plan.
In both roles, you’ll work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure person-centred, professional nursing care.
What We’re Looking For:
RN/M1
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
RN/M2C
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
