Tropic Cleaning Services is a well-established Darwin-based business providing professional cleaning services to government, education, and commercial facilities across the Northern Territory.

We’re seeking a capable and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our daily operations, support our team, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

About the Role

Oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across multiple client sites.

Supervise, mentor, and train staff to maintain service quality and compliance.

Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and operational reviews.

Manage rosters, equipment, and consumables efficiently.

Support a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.

Assist with quoting, contract renewals, and price-increase letters.

Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.

Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental performance.

About You

5+ years in operations, cleaning, or facilities management.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage multi-site contracts.

Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Proficient with Microsoft 365 and reporting software.

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

Current Driver’s Licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain).

Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems is preferable.
