About the role

Junkyard Skips Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced casual Skip bin truck driver to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Skip bin truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting skip bins to and from residential and commercial properties throughout the local area.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and manoeuvre the skip bin truck to deliver and collect skip bins

Interact with customers to provide excellent service and respond to any queries or concerns

Ensure skip bins are placed and secured safely at customer sites

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the skip bin truck

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries and collections

Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

A current Australian heavy vehicle driver's licence (MR, HR Class )

At least 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles or skip bin trucks

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Knowledge of the local Newcastle area and roads
