Stuart Park Child Care Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre that has been a part of the Stuart Park community for more than 30 years. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Educator to join our dedicated team.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must have:

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

OCHRE Card (Working With Children Check)

Child Protection Qualification

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates

Availability to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm, five days per week

Willingness to show initiative and take responsibility for assigned duties

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proactive approach to implementing a play-based curriculum

Bright, friendly and enthusiastic attitude

Commitment to developing the future of our children

Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

About Your Day

Plan and implement developmentally and educationally appropriate play-based programs for each child

Maintain effective communication with parents and families

Foster positive working relationships with all team members

Manage and maintain resources within your room

Ensure health and safety standards are consistently upheld
