Mesh & Bar is an innovative & independent manufacturer of reinforcing steel and mesh products. Since being established in 1998, we have enjoyed significant growth throughout eastern Australia. The Queensland arm of our business proudly manufactures and distributes to the construction industry from our facilities located at Redbank, Caloundra and soon to be from our new state-of-the-art facility at Brendale.

About the role

Due to increasing growth, we have multiple positions available in our Caloundra team for:

· Machine & Gantry Crane Operators – full training provided

· Trucks Drivers

· Forklift Drivers

We require multiple shift coverage for day & afternoon shifts. These roles offer a competitive base hourly rate with 25% casual allowance & 15% afternoon shift allowance along with the opportunity for paid overtime.

Full training provided for Machine Operators & Gantry Crane Operators.

Truck Driver Requirements:

· A minimum of 6 months HC / HR experience

· Possession of an MC class licence, crane ticket & white / red card

Forklift Driver Requirements:

· A minimum of a current High-Risk Work Forklift Licence (LF)

The successful applicant requires:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening

A high level of motivation & attention to detail

The ability to follow safe work procedures & adhere to company policies

The ability to understand, follow and comply with WH&S obligations and demonstrate a safe work ethic
