We’re seeking a highly organised and motivated Traffic Survey Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of traffic data collection projects in South East Queensland.

You’ll conduct surveys across a range of transport environments - from busy metropolitan intersections to regional highways - ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality data for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end delivery of traffic and transport survey projects.

Plan and coordinate staff, equipment, and logistics for surveys.

Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Supervise data processing, validation, and reporting to guarantee accuracy and consistency.

Maintain inventory of survey equipment and oversee maintenance schedules.

Develop and implement safety procedures and quality assurance processes.

Provide training, mentoring, and leadership to survey teams.

Prepare project budgets, timelines, and progress reports.

About You

Proven experience in traffic or transport survey management.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Familiarity with traffic data collection technologies (e.g., tube counters, video systems, Bluetooth sensors etc).

Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, GIS, traffic analysis software) is an advantage.

A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel for site work when required

This job will require working sometimes at odd hours.
