ECG Technician or Nurse Practitioner – Part-Time Role with a Cardiologist (2-3 Wednesdays Per Month) – Newtown
Are you an experienced ECG Technician or Nurse Practitioner looking for a flexible, part-time role in a specialist medical setting? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our cardiology practice in Newtown for two to three Wednesdays per month.

This role may suit someone looking to earn extra money alongside other work or a retired professional who wants to stay active in the workforce.

Working closely with a leading cardiologist, you will play a key role in patient care by performing essential clinical tasks and ensuring a smooth consultation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete consultation sheets, recording patient medical history and current medications
• Take and record blood pressure
• Conduct ECGs, upload results, and save them to patient files
• Measure and record patient weight and height
• Present ECG results to the Doctor and discuss findings before the cardiologist sees the patient

About You

• Experience as an ECG Technician or Nurse Practitioner in a medical or specialist setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Confident in conducting ECGs and interpreting basic results
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both patients and the specialist
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a professional team
