Highgate Pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacy assistant or dispensary technician to help us fill a part time position.

We are open 7 days a week until 8pm during the week and 6pm on weekends, a Saturday shift may be required.

The position would suit an experienced person with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The applicant must be able to work as part of a team.

Highgate Pharmacy has a very strong focus on customer service, for both our community customers and our many aged care residents.

We provide both Medi-Sachets and Webster Packs to over 1500 customers in Aged Care Facilities and at home, so a knowledge of the dispensary is a big advantage.

We also have a Newsagency, NDSS, SA Lotteries, great cards and a good selection of gifts.

Applicants must have the following skills and experience:

-must provide excellent customer service

-must have a current South Australian driver’s licence

-must have recent community pharmacy experience in Australia

-must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers, doctors and staff at ACFs

-must have the right to live and work in Australia

-experience with FRED POS an advantage but training will be provided

-must have a current S2/S3 certificate

-must be willing to have annual Flu Vaccination
