TRN Group has been operating since 1966 and has a workforce in excess of 350 people in the civil engineering and haulage industry. TRN Group are involved in all aspects of residential, industrial and infrastructure developments for high profile private and public sector clients.

We are currently seeking a Fuel Truck Operator with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Refuel, top up oil levels and supply grease to all machinery on designated project sites

Record fuel usage daily on datafuel for all machinery that is refueled and oil used for top up

Report any defects noted to you from the Plant Operators to the workshop, General Manager - Operations or Plant Manager

Return all written defect reports to the workshop daily for action

Observe all regulations pertaining to the use of public roads and driving hours

Complete paperwork as required by company policies and procedures

Carry out all periodic services as directed by the General Manager - Operations

If you have previous experience in a similar role and meet the following criteria we want to hear from you.

To be successful you must:

Have a current HR unrestricted driver's licence

Have a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)

Clean RMS certified driving record

Have fuel cart operator experience

Knowledge of plant machinery and the servicing requirements for periodic services

Ability to operate the various pumps, etc. fitted to the Fuel Truck

Be physically fit and healthy to be able to carry out the manual tasks associated with the position

Knowledge of civil construction principles and practices

Knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices and procedures

Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team

Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

Effective negotiation skills
