Your new role

We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Strategy & Risk team as Manager - Strategy & Performance on a full-time, 12-month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Director - Strategy & Risk, the role will support senior leaders across the organisation to lead their teams with clear strategy and direction and ensure the strategic and annual plans are fully embedded across the organisation.

Duties include:

  • In consultation with the Director - Strategy & Risk, facilitate organisational strategic and business planning processes
  • Monitoring organisational performance, including coordinating external performance reporting and audits, and managing production of IBAC's annual report
  • Partner with Directors across the organisation to drive a culture of high performance, by providing regular performance management and progress reviews to address performance strengths and gaps.
  • Embed the IBAC Strategy by creating buy in across the organisation and leading the development and reporting of measurable actions that will help achieve IBAC's strategic object

Our requirements / Your skill set

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Significant experience and demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance in the facilitation of business and strategic planning and integrating this into other frameworks including risk.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or ability to develop effective performance measures, monitoring processes and reports, including through the use of technology.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly to influence senior leaders and drive a culture that supports enhanced planning and performance manage
  • Experience in a public sector or similar operating environment is essential

Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
