About the role

Riversdale Estate in Cambridge, Tasmania is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team. As a casual front of house staff member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our renowned winery and restaurant.

What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

Assist with seating guests and providing menus

Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service

Provide recommendations on our wine selection and food pairings

Maintain a clean and organised dining area

Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns in a timely manner

Assist with other front of house duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service

Knowledge of wine and food pairings, or a willingness to learn

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure

Flexible and adaptable to change, with a positive and proactive attitude

Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
