About the Role
Caloundra City Private School is seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic learning community in beautiful Pelican Waters, Queensland at the start of 2026. As a member of our secondary teaching team, you will guide students to think critically, apply mathematics with confidence, and see its connection to the world around them. What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and delivering engaging, high-impact mathematics lessons that foster deep understanding and enthusiasm for learning.
Assessing student progress thoughtfully and providing meaningful feedback that supports growth and mastery.
Collaborating with colleagues to refine and innovate the mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with best contemporary practice.
Contributing to a vibrant professional learning culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Leading or supporting mathematics-related co-curricular initiatives that enrich the student experience and connect learning beyond the classroom.
What We’re Looking For
A qualified and registered teacher (Bachelor of Education and Queensland College of Teachers registration essential).
Demonstrated expertise in teaching secondary mathematics, including Mathematical Methods, with a proven record of student success.
A strong grasp of digital pedagogy and learning management systems (CANVAS preferred), with the ability to design engaging, interactive online content.
A commitment to innovative, student-centred learning that promotes critical thinking, autonomy, and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
A mindset of reflection, adaptability, and a genuine desire to contribute to the collective growth of the school.
