Direct Collective is a fast-growing serviced apartment & permanent rentals chain with complexes located throughout Queensland. We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Casual Public Area Cleaners and Housekeepers for our Brisbane complexes, Pavilion Apartments and Governor Apartments.

Working 3 - 5 days per week varying shifts, Monday to Sunday, we are seeking someone who knows their way around cleaning equipment and can learn quickly and be comfortable working autonomously.

To shine in this position, we are looking for someone with energy and a positive attitude. Good time management and meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Reporting to the Complex Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and appearance of the property and its grounds are of a high standard. In room Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning 1- and 2-bedroom apartments to a high standard.

This role calls for someone who is physically fit and someone who has an assertive approach to workplace health and safety and will go the extra mile to provide a positive guest experience.

This role is a hands-on role and among other tasks, successful applicants may be expected to.

Public Area Cleaners

Maintain all grounds of the complex.

Assist gardener in upkeep of garden beds and potted plants throughout the complex.

Clean all walkways and driveways within the complex.

Clean and maintain all common areas within the buildings and grounds of the complex.

Maintain Rooftops, Public toilets and BBQ area.

Waste management throughout the complex including rotating bins, putting bins out for collection, bringing bins in after collection, regularly cleaning of bins and bin areas etc.

Housekeepers / in room cleaners

Cleaning of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments (cleaning and bed-making), vacuum, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, wall cleaning, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning.

Report any areas of concern to the Complex Manager immediately.
