Experienced HC/MC Truck Driver

MBATT Enterprises has been established for more than 16 years and has built a great reputation within its customer base and in the local area. Located in Loganholme, we specialise in providing quality long distance general freight and rail container transport services.

Due to an increased work load, we are looking for an experienced open HC/MC truck driver to work approximately 40+ hours a week and Must be able to drive 18 speed Road Ranger.

You will be completing all tasks and duties required for long distance general work as well Local container work as required, with some nights and Saturdays.

Tasks and duties will include:

Carrying out routine vehicle checks.

Making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure, both tautliner and flat top trailers.

Driving vehicles to their destination (cold stores) and swapping trailers during your daily tasks according to customers requirements.

Maintaining a daily timesheet or log book with details of trips, including rest breaks on long trips.

Customer service.

Must be willing to work nights.

Must be willing to work Saturdays as required.

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:

Have at least 5 years HC truck-driving experience. (Important)

Have an open HC/MC licence. (Essential)

Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

Be able to work as part of a team.

Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Be capable and confident in your ability.

A MSIC card is not required but advantageous.

Be available to work on long haul trips and local with some nights and Saturdays as required.

Ideally, this position would suit someone from Brisbane South or Logan area with a good knowledge of Brisbane and far outer QLD as long-distance driving will also be required, so experience in this area is desirable.
