What is In Home Care?
In Home Care (IHC) is a specialised, flexible form of child care designed for families who need individualised support. Educators work one-on-one or with small groups of children in their own home, providing personalised, nurturing care that supports children’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing. It is a rewarding role for educators who love forming strong connections with children and their families while making a real difference in their lives.

We are seeking dedicated, nurturing, and reliable educators to support families in Banora Point, Newrybar, and New Brighton etc

Banora Point

Position 1 – Before School Care
Children: 5 years & 9 years
Hours: Monday 5:30 am – 8:30 am | Friday 5:30 am – 8:30 am
$39–$40 per hour
Support morning routines, ensure safety, and provide nurturing care before school.

Position 2 – Toddler Care (15 months old)
Hours: Monday 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | Sat & Sun 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Additional evening care: 8:30 pm – 11:30 pm (approx. 4 nights per month, variable roster)
$40 per hour

Position 3 – School-Aged Care (6-year-old with ADHD/ASD)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30 am – 4:00 pm
Hourly rate: Negotiable
Provide calm, consistent, and engaging care. Support daily routines, encourage positive behaviour strategies, and create a safe, nurturing environment that fosters confidence and independence.

Newrybar

Twin toddlers (13 months old)
Any 2 days per week (to be confirmed) | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
$40 per hour
Support twins’ daily routines, encourage developmental milestones, and maintain a safe, caring environment.

New Brighton

Child aged 2 years 9 months
Wed & Thu: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm | Sat & Sun: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
$41.60 per hour
Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate care and support play-based learning in a calm, nurturing home environment.

What You’ll Need

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (JP verified)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification

WWCC & Police Clearance (issued within 6 months)

ABN & Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Medical clearance

Minimum 2 years’ experience in early childhood or related care

Current Child Protection Refresher Training

Additional training (Active Supervision, Safe Sleep)

Over 18 years old
