About the Department
The Podiatry department provides podiatry and inter-disciplinary care, including high risk foot services, to patients across multiple sites including at St Vincent's Hospital Fitzroy, St George's Hospital Kew, St Vincent's on the Park and within our At Home services.
As part of our team, you will be supported by experienced podiatrists and a multidisciplinary team through a structured supervision framework. This collaborative approach ensures you have the guidance and resources needed to excel in your clinical practice and contribute meaningfully to the overall team and service functionality.
About the Role
This role is shared between the Podiatry Department (3 days per week) and St Vincent's At Home Allied Health Service (2 days per week). We are seeking a motivated and compassionate podiatrist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. You will deliver high-quality care to patients experiencing foot complications associated with diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and pressure-related issues. You will be involved in providing care across a variety of settings, including acute, sub-acute, outpatient and at home environments.
In addition to delivering excellent clinical care, you will also contribute to essential tasks that help enhance team efficiency and patient outcomes. Classifications for this role ranges between CM7 - CV8 ($90,235.60 - $103,724.40 per annum)
Duties
- Provide effective assessment, treatment and discharge planning for podiatry patients/clients
- Contribute to regular team meetings and structured, clinical supervision tailored to your learning needs
- Participate in regular CPD including support in prescribing as an endorsed prescriber
- Complete a formal quality improvement project and present this to the podiatry team and stakeholders
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Current Podiatry AHPRA Registration
· Current Victorian Drivers License
· Great communication skills
