In the role of Senior Advisor (Procurement) you will provide a high level of procurement advice and support to RoadTek Business Units and the Office of the General Manager. You will work as part of a dynamic category management team to develop, deliver and provide advice on procurement initiatives and activities aimed at:
• Improving procurement performance and compliance.
• Realising value outcomes and operational benefits through category management and value chain improvement.
Some accountabilities include:
• Deliver assigned work and provide authoritative accurate procurement support and advice.
• Provide comprehensive, influential advice and analyse issues where required and make recommendations.
• Apply metrics to achieve benefits realisation, undertake performance monitoring, identify category risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Understand and leverage better practices, innovation and market intelligence for procurement.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Desirable qualifications and conditions
• Professional certification in procurement.

• Gain insight into issues by analysing the available information in a critical manner.
• Communicate in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders.
• Apply an expert understanding of procurement policies, planning and procedures; and understand the concepts of category management to lead and align the strategic directions of the supply market and the organisation.
