Leader Equine is a women-led equestrian brand specialising in horse rugs and horse care, based in Keysborough, Melbourne. At Leader Equine, we exist to serve horses first, alongside the equestrians who love and care for them.

This role will require:
· Strong customer care skills with a great telephone smile.
· Accurate data entry skills.
· Previous experience in a customer service/sales/retail role, with the ability to recognise what needs to be done and a ‘can do’ attitude.
· Team player willing to seek help, equally to offer help, and be an effective communicator.
· Fit and active person able to get stuck in with the warehouse team on the regular which requires manual handling and lifting.
· Passion for horses and horse products.
Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming telephone calls to answer customer enquiries with attention to detail, knowledge and going beyond the initial ‘ask’ to ensure you (and we) have assisted the customer in the best manner.
· Entering customers’ orders or checking orders that come in via company systems, ensuring accuracy of data entry and communication with customer as needed.
· Actively calling wholesale customers and managing successful relationships.
· Identify and promote relevant products or services during customer interactions, using product knowledge and customer insights to upsell or cross-sell additional offerings that meet customer needs and contribute to sales targets.
· Process customer returns, credits, and refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring timely resolution and a positive customer experience. This will include inspecting products and liaising with suppliers at times.
· Contribute to the ongoing review of customer care processes and information to assist the team in more efficiently and effectively care customers of the company.
· Data entry for new product set up and ensuring accurate reflection across relevant systems.
· Assisting our warehouse in picking and packing of orders as needed.
· Attending equestrian events with the Leader Equine tradestand as needed which will mean some weekend work through the year (normally not more than 8-10 events per year).
· If you’re comfortable with social media there will be opportunities for content creation.
The position will be either part-time working Monday to Thursday or Full Time Mon – Fri and is office-based in Keysborough. Hourly rate negotiable depending on what you can bring to the team.
