About the role

Studco Building Systems is seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader to join our Croydon-based team on the afternoon shift. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled forklift operators to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials and products in our busy warehousing and distribution facility.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate a small team of skilled forklift operators to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

Provide guidance, training and support to team members to maintain high standards of safety and productivity.

Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials and products as needed.

Oversee inventory management and organisation of the warehouse to optimise storage and workflow.

Monitor team performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.

Liaise with other departments to coordinate logistics and address any issues.

What we're looking for

Forklift experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading and motivating a team. Experience with ugly freight an advantage.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with your team.

Commitment to workplace health and safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.

Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations.
