An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Midwest Mental Health & Community Alcohol and Drug Service in Geraldton.

To be successful, you will have...

• Knowledge of and experience with psychiatric disorders and treatment interventions, and principles of community based mental health care and illness prevention.
• Well developed written and verbal communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic groups.
• A working knowledge of the WA Mental Health Act (2014) and other relevant legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with other health professionals with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of computer applications, word processing skills.
• Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers’ licence or other specialised licence class.

Position Profile:

Provides, plans, implements Community Mental Health Nursing care to customers of Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol & Drug Service.
