'Registered Nurse', Residential Aged Care Facility

About us:
Southport Lodge is a unique 36 bed privately-owned Aged Care Facility on the Gold Coast.

We are looking for Registered Nurses who have an affiliation with the older generation, empathy for the challenges this presents, and an understanding of the support required by our clientele

Minimum 6 months nursing experience required.

The position we are offering includes a mix of four permanent afternoon and night shifts, and the flexibility to cover a variety of shifts when available, with the support and encouragement of an experienced management team.

Applicants must have the following:

Essential

Current AHPRA registration,

Current vaccinations,

Current National Police Certificate, and willingness to complete a statutory declaration if required,

Reliability, flexibility and ability to lead and work as a positive team member.

Valid Australian work rights required.

Desirable

Understanding of Aged Care, the resident rights and responsibilities

Clinical nursing experience in an Aged Care Facility

High level of customer service skills

Ability to demonstrate resident advocacy, ensuring dignity for residents

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to follow directives, as per care plan.
