Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team across various Bowen Basin mine sites. This role offers a mix of long-term stability and flexibility on a 7:7 roster.

We are a well-established Mackay-based business specialising in the maintenance, rebuilds, and field service support of heavy mobile plant for mining and civil operations. With a strong reputation for quality work and a hands-on, supportive team, we’re committed to delivering reliable maintenance solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel engines

Complete preventative maintenance and inspections to maximise fleet reliability

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently

Work safely and collaboratively with both our team and site personnel

Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance in all tasks

Qualifications:

Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent)

Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment systems

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

CBM and S11 are advantageous

Stable ongoing work on $75 p/h plus super on all hours

7:7 rotating D/N roster or limited spots on dayshift-only rosters available
