Due to Increased workload, a newly created position has become available for an experienced Estimator who can scope and manage multiple sites across NSW.

Based in modern offices in South Sydney and reporting to the estimating manager, daily duties will include:

1. Site Inspections and development of scope of works, estimating material and labour costs- mostly in the Greater Sydney Metro area with occasional travel requited in regional NSW and the ACT.
2. Consult with client, owners, and contractors to complete repairs (insurance).
3. Provide common sense and cost-effective approach to make safes after initial event/incident prior to commencement of approved scopes of works.
4. Managing projects with multiple trades and completing reports on behalf of insurance companies.
5. Mentor junior/less experienced team members.
6. Developing business relationships with new and prospective clients.

The person we are looking for must have:

1. At least five years’ experience in Estimating multiple projects across NSW and the ACT - in the value range of $1m to $20m.
2. Ability to get on with people as you will be dealing with clients and internal staff.
3. A strong Knowledge of Insurer SLAs,GICOP Compliance and regulatory frameworks
4. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
5. Experience in Prime / Qubit / Buildsoft / Breadcrumb / Procore /Hammertech etc would be highly regarded.
6. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
7. Current drivers licence.
8. Exceptional organisational skills in terms of Planning / Programming /Conflict resolution / problem solving etc.
9. A strong history in Programmed Maintenance Services.
10. An up to date / valid Police check.
