About the role

JJ Logistical Services is seeking a full-time Refrigerated Truck Driver (Manual) to join our team in Heidelberg, Victoria. This is a permanent, full-time position, starting 1 Nov. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of meals to Health Centers and Aged Care facilities.

What you'll be doing:

Delivery of pre-prepared meals to health facilities / aged care

Workdays: Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun (Incl Pub Hol)

5 ton Refrigerated truck with Taillift

Manual transmission

Start time 5.00 am - Finish time 4 to 5 pm

Adhere to all road rules and transport regulations to ensure safe delivery of goods

Conduct pre-start checks

Load and unload vehicles as required,

Secure the Load during Transport

Sanitize Refrigerated unit and Keep Truck exterior clean

Provide excellent customer service to clients

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations

WHAT YOU NEED

Your qualities: Punctual, Reliable, Trustworthy, Dedicated, Friendly approach, Patient Driver

A valid MR/HR Class license with a good 5-Year Vic Roads driving history

2+ years' experience as a commercial vehicle driver in the road transport industry

Ability to drive manual.

Work independently, but also be a Team Player

Be customer oriented and deliver great customer service

Good communication skills

Have sound work ethics

Have a can-do attitude

Strong knowledge of road rules and transport regulations

Excellent driving skills and defensive driving techniques

Have a professional manner and presentation.

The successful candidate will need to have or obtain the following:

Police check

5-Year Vic Roads Driving History report

Will also undergo Medical, Drug and Alcohol screening

Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or similar) - Can be obtained online if successful candidate

You need to be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia to qualify.
