- Permanent full time multiple positions, 76 hours per fortnight
- Base salary ranges between $158,532 - $170,285 per annum (DO2)
- 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave + 17.5% loading.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
- Rural and Remote incentive - Zone 3 - 32% allowance of base salary.
- Accommodation assistance available as per policy: either 17 months at a Queensland Health facility or 17 months rental subsidy.

About the role
As Senior Dentist, you'll provide advanced dental care and clinical leadership across North West HHS facilities, including outreach services and treatment under general anaesthetic. You'll mentor and support a multidisciplinary oral health team, oversee fixed and mobile clinics, and contribute to workforce development, service planning, and quality improvement. This role plays a key part in improving oral health outcomes for adults and children through safe, culturally responsive, and patient-centred care.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a tertiary degree qualification in Dentistry and current registration with the Dental Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - AHPRA).
- Extensive clinical experience preferred.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
