We are looking for a part-time casual veterinarian to work on our Australian first mobile CT truck. You and a vet will be traveling in a state-of-the-art custom-built vehicle housing a human grade CT scanner to veterinary clinics around Melbourne and the greater surroundings, providing on-site advanced imaging and general anaesthesia.

You will have no direct pet owner interaction. You will only be dealing with your veterinary colleagues. This will save a lot of stress and time.

Insight Mobile Veterinary Diagnostics is a small privately owned family run business that has been providing mobile specialist services for over 7 years to the Victorian veterinary community. We have excellent relationships with a wide array of clinics and you can be part of our unique and hand selected team of highly skilled specialists, clinicians and nurses.

All you need is to;

have a vibrant and friendly personality

be confident in dealing with your veterinary colleagues

be motivated by achieving the best patient care

have a valid drivers licence

5 years minimum in clinic experience

enjoy anaeesthesia

Costs for radiation licenses will be covered. All radiation safety and protection will be provided. A light rigid truck license is required. The cost for this course along with payment for your time will be covered by Insight.

The role is available from now. Initially this will be 2 days a week. All training for use of equipment will be provided. No after hours or weekend work.
