Join Our Team as a Casual Disability Support Worker
Flexible Hours | School Holiday & Christmas Roles Available | Make a Difference
The Role:
We’re currently looking for casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team! Whether you're available during the week, over the school holidays, or seeking Christmas casual work, we’d love to hear from you.
We have work available now and are looking to hire for immediate starts.
Extra shifts will also be available during the school holiday and Christmas periods.
If you're interested in more consistent hours, we’re also open to offering part-time positions for the right candidates—so please don’t hesitate to apply.
You’ll support individuals across a range of services including:
Afterschool care
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Community access
Day programs
Vacation care
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you’ll work with people (including children and young people) who may have complex needs and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs). Full training, including PBSP and de-escalation techniques, will be provided as part of your onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
Support clients with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks
Implement PBSP strategies to support individuals with complex behaviours
Encourage participation in community and recreational activities
Assist with household tasks such as cooking and light cleaning
Promote social connection through shared interests (e.g. cars, fishing, gym)
Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re after team members who are:
Compassionate, calm, and adaptable
Confident working with individuals with diverse needs
Able to build strong, trusting relationships
Organised and reliable
Experienced in disability support or a related field (preferred but not essential)
Essential Requirements:
Current First Aid & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Valid Driver’s Licence and own car with comprehensive insurance
Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Willingness to provide personal care
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Desirable:
Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
