Blackheath Physiotherapy and Pilates is a premium multidisciplinary Physio and Pilates clinic in the Blue Mountains. We have a holistic approach when caring for our clients to ensure the best outcome. Backed by the latest evidence-based treatments, our services range from individual physiotherapy assessment and treatment, gym based rehabilitation programs, sports and dance physio, hydrotherapy programs, and a fully equipped clinical pilates studio.

Our physios all have special areas of interest that clients from ‘out of area’ travel to us for treatment including strength and conditioning, sports, hypermobility, and physio for dancers, artists and musicians. Our physios work alongside our talented pilates instructors, massage therapists and naturopath in a positive and supportive working environment.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated Physiotherapist who enjoys working with people and helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for their individual goals. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.

We have an existing caseload for a Clinical Pilates trained physio, and further training in clinical pilates will be available with our experienced senior physios and funding to attend DMA Clinical Pilates training will be provided for the right applicant.

Other requirements of the position include:

Full AHPRA registration

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Clinical Pilates training (preferred but not essential)

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Genuine willingness to learn

Right to work in Australia

About the role

A typical day in our clinic may include individual MSK treatments, combined with functional exercise training and semi-private Clinical Pilates equipment-based sessions. You may also be running workshops on different topics, filming an instructional video on your favourite shoulder exercise or providing a regular mat classes modelled around your specific area of interest.
