Toowoomba, Toowoomba & Darling Downs QLD
We are looking for friendly, warm, and approachable Occupational Therapist to become the newest members of our multidisciplinary therapy team.
Our 12-Month Rotational OT Graduate position is a perfect opportunity to gain experience and exposure across both paediatric and adult caseloads in a structured and supported manner.
This program offers you a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive, experience supporting clients across the lifespan before defining your long-term clinical focus.
The 12-month rotation position is divided into two distinct, caseload experiences, ensuring you develop a comprehensive skillset across diverse caseloads.
Once you have completed the rotational experience, you have the opportunity to work with either paediatric or adult clients, or a mixed caseload.
Phase 1: Adult Caseload (6 Months)
Focus on assessing and assisting clients to improve function or to reach their goals. You will develop expertise in:
Conducting functional assessments and reviewing client needs for adaptive technology, including mobility aids and home modifications.
Providing specialist advice in multi-disciplinary team environments to help clients achieve their goals and adapt their environment.
Phase 2: Paediatric Caseload (6 Months)
Focus on supporting children, young people, and their families to develop essential skills for daily life, learning, and participation. You will gain experience in:
Working with children and young people in community and school settings, addressing challenges related to emotional regulation, sensory needs, and learning difficulties.
Implementing educationally relevant, contextual interventions to improve self-care, fine motor skills, and social participation.
Developing strategies to support positive engagement and skill-building in various settings.
After the 12-month rotation experience, you will have the opportunity to work with either a paediatric or adult caseload, or a mixed caseload.

Team & Peer Support: Our team environment is a safe space to ask questions, share wins and mistakes, and continuously improve. We are a team that has your back.
Extra Leave: One day of paid birthday leave per year to celebrate your special day, and volunteer leave so you can give back to the community.
Efficient Systems: We don't use KPIs to measure performance, as they don't measure quality. Our focus is on providing a manageable caseload and a clear system for note-taking and documentation, so you can spend more time doing what you love—working with people—and less time on paperwork.
Full admin support and access to therapy resources, tools, computer, and insurance.
