Do you enjoy working with food and brightening people’s days? We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to support aged care facilities across the Taree and Port Macquarie Regions.

What We’re Looking For:
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:

Experienced in kitchen work, food preparation, or customer service

Experience in home cooking and producing "good hearty food"

Comfortable working both independently and within a team

Well-presented, tidy, and take pride in maintaining high hygiene standards

A quick learner with a friendly, can-do attitude

Hold a current driver’s licence and have your own reliable transport

Available for shifts per week—including weekdays, weekends, and ad-hoc shifts

Aged care experience is a plus, but not essential—we’ll provide the support you need.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with food preparation and meal service

Serving meals, drinks, and snacks to residents with warmth and care

Keeping kitchens, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organised

Re-stocking supplies and supporting general kitchen operations

Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Lending a hand wherever needed to support the team

Shift Details:

Shifts range between 4 to 8 hours and can be split shifts

Morning and evening shifts available (latest finish is 8:00 PM)

Weekday and weekend availability required

Requirements:

Willingness to obtain a current Police Clearance

Proof of triple COVID-19 vaccination

Proof of current flu vaccination
