About the Role

As a Coordinator, you will:

Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality care.

Work closely with management to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.

Engage with families, school staff, and the community to create a welcoming environment.

Contribute ideas and feedback in a workplace where your voice matters.

The role offers a balanced roster totaling 35 hours per week with an additional 3 hours educational leader. Regular hours of work are Monday 6:30 am–9:30 am, Tuesday to Friday 6:30 am–9:00 am, and Monday to Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm. In addition, Coordinators attend management meetings each Tuesday from 9:30 am–11:30 am and are allocated 3 hours per week to undertake Educational Leader responsibilities.

Essential Requirements:

Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification

Working with Children Check

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates

Child Protection certificate

Food Handling certificate

Minimum 2 years' experience in OOSH or childcare coordination role

Previous team leadership experience in childcare setting

Legal right to work in Australia

Ability to pass background checks as required for childcare positions

Desirable:

Experience using OWNA

Previous Educational Leader experience
