Randstad is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Canberra. If you have a passion for precision metalwork, a strong commitment to safety, and experience fabricating and assembling structural components, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lay out, measure, and mark materials (such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel) accurately prior to cutting and shaping.

Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy before welding.

Perform welding using various processes, including but not limited to SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG), on different materials and thicknesses.

Operate fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, grinders, and torches safely and effectively.

Inspect and test welds and products for defects and conformance to specifications, making necessary repairs.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
