TIFA Support Services is seeking a compassionate and proactive female Mental Health Support Worker to provide social and emotional support to an independent participant in her 50s.

The participant is easy going, friendly, and values positive, genuine connection. She does not require personal care or assistance with daily living tasks. This role is focused on companionship, mental health support, and enjoying community life together.

About the Role

Providing companionship and meaningful social support

Supporting mental health wellbeing with empathy and consistency

Attending community activities and appointments

Encouraging engagement in hobbies and everyday routines

Hours

Mondays 10:00am to 6:00pm

Wednesdays 9:00am to 6:00pm

Potential for additional shifts, including weekends.

About You

The Participant is looking for a female support worker aged 20 to 30 who is:

Outgoing, empathetic, and kind

Sociable and confident in building rapport

Patient and understanding of mental health needs

Consistent, reliable, and committed long term

Experience in mental health support is highly regarded, but we welcome applications from candidates with the right values, empathy, and willingness to learn.
