Senior Azure DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer | Melbourne | Hybrid

We’re working with a leading Australian institution that is undergoing a major cloud transformation program. They are investing heavily in building scalable, secure, and cost-optimised infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join their Cloud Platform team.

About the Role
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking cloud platform team, where you’ll design and deliver scalable Azure environments, implement IaC practices, and collaborate with architects, application owners, and technical teams to deliver secure, cost-optimised infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Landing Zones aligned to the CAF model
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep required; Terraform beneficial)
• Configure and optimise Azure services across networking, compute, identity, storage, DNS, and domain controllers
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories to support CI/CD practices
• Drive governance, cost optimisation, and cloud security initiatives
• Partner with architects, application owners, and engineering teams to deliver solutions
• Engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you Bring

• Strong skills with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, CI/CD)
• Solid knowledge of Azure infrastructure (Landing Zones, CAF model, networking, compute, identity, storage, DNS, domain controllers)
• Bicep required; Terraform familiarity is a plus
• Understanding of cloud cost optimisation, governance, and security practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
