Our goals assist all departments to provide balanced focus in our key areas, with our values providing guidance for our decision-making. We are currently seeking applicants for casual Coach/Bus Driver positions at our Blackwater depot.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Operate Bus Services as required;
• Conduct and record pre-start vehicle checks;
• Conduct and record post-service vehicle checks;
• Adhere to all Queensland Transport, legislative, regulatory and company driving instructions;
• Report and record all vehicle defects;
• Report all accidents, near misses and other occurrences:
• Comply with all company policies and safe work procedures.

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL - requirement of this position is to hold minimum MR licence & Qld Drivers Authority (DA).

Previous coach/ bus driving experience.

Standard 11 (or willing to obtain).

Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain).

Remuneration

Current EA rates - Midweek rate $39.34. Saturday $59.01. Sunday $78.68. Public Holiday $98.35;

On top of great rates, we pay superannuation on all our driver's hours;

Rate increase after 6 months in recognition of experience and tenure;

What's on offer

We operate with rotating rosters of 9 days on / 5 days off and 7 days on / 7 days off.

For applicants who are required to travel to Blackwater, we will provide camp accommodation.

Paid training and development - Cert III in Driving Operations after six months.
