About the role

Physiocrest Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Speech Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our clients in community based in Sydney, NSW. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' communication and swallowing needs

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to help clients improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to provide holistic care

Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records in accordance with regulatory requirements

Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers

Staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and techniques in speech-language pathology

What we're looking for

Degree in Speech Pathology or Speech-Language Therapy

Registered with the Speech Pathology Australia ONLY can apply.

Graduates are welcome to apply.

Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of a variety of communication and swallowing disorders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Proficient in documentation and record-keeping

Work and schedule clients on your own time, or we can schedule for you on you convenient time.
