About the role
Join a small, dedicated team working to promote the mental health and wellbeing of staff across the Department of Justice. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your psychological expertise in an organisational setting, where your work contributes to safer, healthier workplaces.
You’ll be involved in a diverse mix of activities, from responding to critical incidents and supporting staff through challenging circumstances, to delivering training and developing wellbeing resources. The work is varied, meaningful, and grounded in real-world impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing psychological support following critical incidents.
Delivering training and psychoeducation to staff and managers.
Offering guidance on workplace wellbeing matters.
Supporting staff involved in coronial inquests and other court proceedings.
Contributing to the Department’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy.
Liaising with external agencies to support service delivery.
