Job Description

Join our team at our busy Altona depot and put your forklift skills to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join us

Location: Altona

Shift Start Time: 3:00pm

Employment Type: Casual

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload PUD fleet and interstate linehaul equipment safely and efficiently

Ensure compliance with mass management and load restraint guidelines

Verify and document consignments, weights, and dangerous goods compatibility

Check and apply destination labels (state/on-forwarding etc.)

Follow best-practice processes for compliance and continuous improvement

Maintain high organisational standards and customer care

Skills and Experience

Experience in linehaul loading / forklift operations (Essential)

Strong knowledge of mass management and weight distribution

Understanding of load restraint guidelines

Ability to comply with all WHS regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements

Knowledge of hand-held scanning equipment

Knowledge of dangerous goods handling (Advantageous)

High focus on safety, compliance, and reliability

Enthusiastic and energetic team player
