Maintenance Electrician – Nightshift.
Location: Carole Park, QLD

Shift: Nightshift (Full-time, Permanent). 10pm-6am Sunday night until Friday morning

Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking to join a leading food manufacturing business? We are seeking a proactive and skilled tradesperson to support our production team on nightshift, ensuring equipment reliability and smooth plant operations in a fast paced FMCG environment.

About the Role: As a Nightshift Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance support across the plant, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You’ll work with modern processing and packaging equipment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, plant machinery, and automated equipment
• Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime and improve production efficiency
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions
• Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications to machinery as required
• Ensure all work is performed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards (including HACCP and GMP)
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

• Trade qualified Electrician with a current A-Grade Licence (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in Manufacturing
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills with PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar advantageous)
• Sound understanding of preventative maintenance systems and reliability practices
• Ability to work independently on nightshift while contributing to a safety first team culture
