About the Role
Green Light Worldwide, in partnership with our Healthcare client, is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join their operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover), with a possible 6-month extension.
Reporting to the Facilities Director, this role plays a critical part in delivering strategic asset management, compliance, and infrastructure performance across a complex healthcare environment. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of hospital assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of asset management and compliance strategies across a major healthcare facility.
- Oversee lifecycle planning, asset condition analysis, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical, and operational teams to optimise asset performance.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve infrastructure resilience and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and safety requirements.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline, with strong technical knowledge of hospital infrastructure and systems.
- Proven experience in asset and facilities management within hospital or healthcare environments.
- Solid understanding of ISO 55000, lifecycle planning, and performance-based contracts.
- Experience with PPP models (Public-Private Partnerships) – highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality outcomes.
