SECURITY SERVICE TECHNICIAN

MTC Security is Tasmania's leading security installation company installing and servicing, IP CCTV, Alarm and Access Control system integrator in Tasmania and are currently seeking a full-time experienced field technician to join are team and become part of our family.

About the role

The role will see you working as both part of the team and autonomously at various locations.

You will be working within our service, maintenance and installation team servicing and completing installation as required for our customers. In addition, you will be responsible for installation and commissioning of Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms and more.

Be an all-rounder and team player are key for position.

Successful candidate must have:

Technical experience of access control system, alarm systems and CCTV systems is essential.

A minimum of 3 Years field experience working as a security technician

Current TAS Driver License

Current WHS White Card

Working with children (WWC)

Capable of working unsupervised, attention to details and meet installation deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical understanding and experience in the following systems would be an advantage:

Security/Access Control - Inner Range – Integriti/Inception, Tecom Challenger, Ajax, Hills, Bosch & Paradox

CCTV – Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Milestone & Hanwha

Intercoms – Hikvision, Aiphone

Trouble shooting, general IT (port forwarding & Networking)
