Food Process Worker

Camellia/ Parramatta area location

Casual position with pathway to permanent ($30.35/hr + OT+ Super)

Weekly pay cycle

Immediate start (weekdays only, day shift with 7am start)

As a trusted supplier to major supermarkets and national meal solution providers, at German Butchery we are passionate about producing Continental Smallgoods the traditional way and to the highest quality standard.

Due to consistent growth, we are hiring multiple Packing Process Workers and Production Labourers for our weekday operation with immediate start at our Camellia location.

We are looking for staff that have a positive attitude and strong work ethic and who would understand basic workplace health and safety practices; and are comfortable working with smallgoods and pork meat products in a chilled environment of 4C-10C.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Packing Process Worker

Working on a fast-paced packing line (slicing, weighing and sorting smallgoods & meat products)

Labelling products accurately

Quality checking of products

Working with packaging machines and conveyor belts,

Stacking boxes onto pallet

Production Labourer

Support production team to fill & hang up sausages

Assist in ham & bacon manufacturing

Move product trolleys and stage for smoking

Maintaining the cleanliness of machinery and the general working area

Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Wearing PPE such as hairnets, gloves, and aprons as required & provided

Essential Requirements to be considered for this role are:

Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work responsibly and autonomously

Good communication and verbal skills are essential.

Full working rights in Australia

Preferably have own transport/car (as next public transport option is a 10min walk)

Most importantly, reliability! Attendance is essential in a small team.

A background in food manufacturing / experience in a similar position is preferrable
