HenderCare is currently seeking a casual Personal Care Worker to attend several homecare services throughout Sydney's inner west suburbs. Successful candidate will travel to clients: Ashfield, Concord, Croydon, Strathfield, Summer Hill, Petersham, and Surrounding Suburbs.
About the role:
As a casual Personal Care Worker, you will aim to maximise the service recipients' independence by addressing their needs and building positive home environments and relationships with families and the community. The ideal candidate will excel in handling multiple short shifts, able to drive and attend multiple clients in Sydney, ensuring consistent opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives we support.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Personal Care (e.g. bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, medication management, manual handling bed transfers, etc.).
Domestic Assistance (e.g. cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, etc.).
Transport (e.g. shopping, appointments, etc.).
Our ideal candidate:
Must have previous experience providing personal care, domestic assistance, transport services
Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
Have strong communication and documentation skills
Must have own vehicle and comprehensive insurance

Required:

Completed Cert III/IV in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability or equivalent.
Current First Aid HLTAID011 & CPR HLTAID009
Current Manual Handling Certificate
Current National Police Check
Current Working With Children Check (Employee Type)
Current NDIS Worker Check
Unrestricted Australian Drivers License, own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
