N.J.E Engineering pty ltd is a family run business based in Melbourne's north, specializing in industrial maintenance and breakdown services.

We are currently searching for qualified fitter and turners with industrial maintenance experience to join our team. This role will see you working on one of our customers sites as a part of their maintenance team. Shift coverage, project work and breakdowns will be your main responsibilities to ensure minimal down time of a wide range of plant and equipment. Flexibility to work, day, afternoon and night shift when required will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will hold the following skills and experience:

-Australian trade qualification

-Lathe and milling experience

-Experience working in production plants

-Experience in plant maintenance and breakdown repairs.

-Ability to assess and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner

-Self-starter and the ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision

-Excellent communication skills

-Skills in welding and minor fabrication will be an advantage.
