💡 Lighting Control Technician - KNX / Dynalite - Defence Projects

📍 Brisbane-based | 💰 $120K + Super + Vehicle + LAHA | ✈️ Travel 1 in 4-6 weeks

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Lighting Control Technician with strong KNX and/or Dynalite expertise. This position is hands-on across installation, commissioning, programming, training, and client support. You'll liaise with electricians, project managers, and end-users to ensure systems are designed, delivered, and supported to the highest standard.

The role involves interstate travel every 4-6 weeks and requires either a Baseline Defence clearance or the ability to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, configure, and commission KNX / Dynalite lighting control systems

Program scenes, schedules, groups, dimming, and logic functions

Provide client training and technical support both on site and remotely (TeamViewer, phone, email)

Diagnose and resolve faults, carry out repairs, and maintain system reliability

Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and engineers on control design and integration

Complete project documentation - commissioning logs, test reports, As-Installed drawings

Travel for major service or installation projects (approx. 1 week every 1-1.5 months)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✔️ Hands-on experience with KNX and/or Dynalite (essential)
✔️ Skilled in commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting lighting control systems
✔️ Ability to travel every 4-6 weeks for site work
✔️ Eligible for (or already holding) Baseline Defence clearance
✔️ Confident communicator who can liaise with clients and train end-users
✔️ Organised, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
