About Us
Playology Clinic is a psychologist-owned paediatric allied health clinic in Melbourne’s outer east.
We combine the heart of a not-for-profit with the flexibility of private practice. Our small, values-driven team of psychologists, OTs, and therapy assistants works together to support kids, teens, and families in meaningful, neuroaffirming ways.
This role is only open because one of our much-loved psychologists is relocating. Our team tends to stay—because Playology is a workplace people genuinely want to be part of.
What We Offer
✨ Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 pro rata (exclusive of super + PD + benefits)
✨ Professional growth: $2,000 pro rata PD budget + one week (pro rata) paid study leave
✨ In-house PD series: guest facilitators (2025 included DIR/Floortime, Learn to Play, Bridges Out of Poverty + more)
✨ Wellbeing-first: manageable caseloads + regular reflective supervision + wellbeing program
✨ Collaboration: work alongside psychologists, OTs, therapy assistants, and onsite partners
✨ Flexibility: 3–5 days/week with realistic workloads
Your Role
Deliver high-quality, neuroaffirming psychology supports to children, adolescents, and families
Conduct assessments, therapy, and case formulation tailored to real-life needs
Work across clinic, school, and home environments where appropriate
Partner with therapy assistants to embed strategies in natural settings
Keep records up to date and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
About You
Registered Psychologist (AHPRA – general or clinical)
Passionate about supporting young people and families
Skilled in assessment, intervention, and collaborative practice
Committed to strengths-based, neuroaffirming care
Current WWCC
Bonus if you bring:
Experience with NDIS participants
Confidence working across home, school, and community settings
