At Make The Time, we’re dedicated to supporting young people of all ages to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. We provide NDIS support services, school-based mentoring, and group programs that build essential life skills, encourage positive choices, and create meaningful opportunities for growth. Our programs include mentoring, skill development workshops, and recreational activities—all designed to inspire confidence and resilience in a safe, empowering environment.
About the Role
We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. This is a casual or part time role that involves working across two areas:
Disability Support – providing one-on-one support to young people with a disability, both at home and in the community.
Mentoring – supporting students in our school-based programs, helping them build confidence, life skills, and positive connections.
This role is well-suited to people with backgrounds as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), youth workers, or disability support workers. While prior experience is valued, it isn’t essential. We’ll provide training and guidance to the right candidate who shares our passion for empowering young people. A variety of shifts are available Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support aligned with Make The Time policies and values
Assist with daily living activities and routines
Take clients out for safe, fun, and engaging activities
Mentor students as part of our school-based program
Help young people set, work toward, and achieve their personal goals
What We’re Looking For
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
WWVP Card
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
Australian working rights
