Role Overview

The Warehouse Person/Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in our daily operations by ensuring the efficient handling of goods within the warehouse and timely, safe delivery to our customers. This position requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to the demands of a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Duties

Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming goods.

Safely and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.

Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment.

Use forklifts and other equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols.

Current forklift licence required or training will be provided.

Unload shipping containers in a safe manner.

2. Delivery Duties

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver orders to customers.

Plan routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic and weather conditions when necessary.

Ensure accurate and complete delivery documentation, including obtaining signatures and payments when necessary.

Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally at all times.

3. Inventory Management

Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels when planned by the Manager.

Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the Manager.

4. Safety and Compliance

Follow all safety regulations and company policies and apply common sense.

Keep up-to-date with relevant licences, certifications, and training.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.

Car licence (C class) required for this position.

Previous warehouse and delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A positive CAN-DO attitude and forward thinker.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages.

Ability to lift packages up to 35kg as required.
